Each vehicle must be fitted with a GNSS/GPS-enabled OBU or toll tag. The system records journeys made and automatically generates invoices.

Implementation is scheduled for July1, 2026.

Category N2 and N3 vehicles used to transport goods, i.e. all vehicles over 3.5 tonnes (gross vehicle weight), registered in the Netherlands or abroad. Buses are not concerned.
